The Sydney Stand Up Comedy Championships is all killer and no filler! Set in the heart of Newtown, it is the best inner west comedy.
At this show the comedians must bring all of their best material, otherwise they won’t get your vote!
Nervous about sitting in the front row? Don’t be! You’ll be voting for the comedians - they’re at your mercy…
The winner each night at the Championships will go straight to the grand final at the Sydney Comedy Store.
Free Stand-Up Comedy Class
Want to try stand up comedy or gain some skills to help you be a better story teller or public speaker?
Then come along to our free class where you will learn an element of stand up comedy.
There are six different classes. Each one covers a different topic - and you can drop in at any time. There’s a small writing exercise in each class to help you gain some comedy skills.
It’s optional to stay for the comedy show, but most people do!
What are you waiting for? Grab a ticket now to the class and nourish your inner comedian today! We guarrantee you’ll have a tonne of fun.
The class starts at 6pm and ends at 7pm. You’ll have a 30-minute break to grab a meal and drink with other class members before the show starts at 7:30pm.

Stand up comedy classes for your team
